Sutton's BT Exchange was broadband ( ADSL) enabled ahead of all the other local exchanges in Nov 2003

many Witcham residents ( and other Sutton BT Exchange connected villages ) should be able to get broadband speeds up to 8Mb/s. My service is provided by Demon the connection which is now about 50 times faster than dial up has been 99.99% reliable since installation in Nov 2003.

Note: We got a faster service from early September 05.

My ISP upgraded my connection to 1.5 - 2Mb/s at no extra charge.

September 2006 my connection upgraded to up to 8Mb/s for free, only limited by the distance to the Sutton Exchange we now have close to Cable speeds in the Village
